My Music Tool's Need An OVERHAUL!

This is shameful but oh so true. My hubby went to the DOLLAR STORE to by a pair of headphone for my IPod. I was hoping that they would be good enough to last me at least one week, okay. Unfortunately, they did not! He paid 5 bucks for them because we are living on a budget. The economy has hit billions of people, including my household, so we are definitely cutting back on some expenses. On the other hand, I do not want to bypass quality for a few extra bucks. When it comes to my music, because I love my tunes, I have to have a pair of headphones that will at least get me over for the next 6 months. I've been shopping around online for some cool headphones that I can use in my IPod and Laptop. There are so many and I have the slightest idea of what I'm looking for. I've found a pair of Denon AH-C560R headphones and of course some from Bose, Sony, Lennox, Emerson and others.
I've been trying to compare the features, quality and of course PRICE of them all. Not sure as of yet which one I will end up purchasing but the Denon is in a close lead due to the list of features it has versus the price. Until I'm able to buy a pair, I will have to endure the crappy set of headphones my hubby bought. The sound is horrible, need I say more!! So for all of you out there who live by listening to a variety of genres of music, you clean with it, you relax with it or study with it, I fully understand.
