Age Of The Eco-Friendlies...Green Fashion, Green Printing & Everything In Between!

December 12th 2011 02:49
I know that my title is very catchy right! On the other hand, most of you wonder "what is she doing in her title?", or "those things have nothing to do with each other". Well, on the contrary my friend, they ALL have everything to do with each other.

First of all, we are living in the 21st century and we've finally learned of how our actions will effect our children, grandchildren and their children. We've learned the damage that carbon dioxide play on our atmosphere, as well as filling our landfills with chemicals. Various industries have switched to green printing instead of utilizing traditional wasteful means of printing. Our children are learning about recycling to reuse materials instead of throwing them away. It was only a matter of time before this awareness entered the fashion arena as well.

Now, people can purchase eco-friendly fashion, YEAH! I am a faithful recycle person but I did not know that you could wear environmentally friendly clothing. I ran across a couple of sites like this the other day while researching the usual fashion news, trends, you name it. After browsing, I seen some adorable items to say the least and I know that I can wear them confidently knowing that I am doing the right thing by our environment.

Traditionally, what makes fashion eco-friendly? Insiders state that the material has to made from all natural or organic fabrics. There has been a new groove niched into the fashion industry just for green or eco-friendly fashion items and from what I've seen, fashionista's are responding well to them. For my daughters, these items will help keep down those pesky things we call "allergens" and "allergies". All of our children suffer from Eczema which is a skin allergy and we have the hardest time finding the right items suitable for their skin condition. Currently, there are thousands of online and brick and mortar retail stores specializing in providing brand name, organic, green and environmentally friendly fashion. It doesn't get any better than this. There's green couture, eco-wedding gowns and so much more. Designers such as Stella McCartney and Coco Chanel has adopted new, fashion trendy eco-friendly lines, pieces and items.

I currently work from home and it's all good, but I had previously been using ordinary copy paper to fulfill request for my clients. After coming across various information about eco or green printing, I made the conscious decision to "switch lanes"! So its only evident that I will be adding so fashionably stylish new green fashion to me and my families wardrobe!
